Joker Halloween Costume
It won’t be long before Halloween is here, but you still have plenty of time to plan your costume. Whether you are trick or treating or going to a Halloween party, you will want a costume that makes an impact! If you are a fan of the Batman movies or comics then maybe you have considered dressing as a character from this popular series. Batman might be the obvious choice of costume, but how about considering a the Joker Halloween costume instead?
The Joker has been one of Batman’s main enemies since the comic books started and has been portrayed by many famous actors in the Batman films including Jack Nicholson and the late great Heath Ledger. You could have great fun dressing as the Joker and no the Joker Halloween costume would be complete without a selection of tricks and gags to try on your friends and neighbors if you dare!
The joker Halloween costume is amazingly easy to put together. First you will need an old suit, preferably with a waistcoat. Next you need to focus on the face and for this you can get some face paints from any costume shop or online party shop. The Joker’s face is well known across the world and is mainly a white face with a huge red grin. You should be able to recreate this very easily and it doesn’t matter if you go a bit wrong. Remember Heath Ledger’s character? His makeup was less than perfect after all!
If you don’t want to make your own costume then there are many the Joker Halloween costumes available online. Costumes range from $20 up to $150 depending on the quality of the clothes and accessories. The higher end costumes include realistic latex masks and gags and props whilst the cheaper versions will usually consist of a lower quality mask and clothes that will probably only last the night, but are good enough none the less. Once you have your costume sorted, why not visit a joke shop and pick up some little tricks to put up your sleeve. How about some sneezing powder or a flower that squirts water? This could be great fun for trick or treating and tricking your friends and will really show you have put thought into your costume.
How about going all out and learning some lines from the Batman movies. The Joker had lots of catchphrases and funny lines and you could really have a lot of fun reenacting some of your favorite scenes. If you can, why not convince one of your friends to dress as Batman and you could put together some of the scenes between the two characters for extra effect!
Whatever you choose, the Joker is a great character to dress as and the Batman films are very fashionable right now so you will be right up to date.
